Howdy!!
We are underway! We had a great first week of school, and are into week 2. Thanks to our amazing student body and staff for a pretty good week. As we get rolling with classes and learning, we get rolling with our activities as well. Please support the Grizzlies and Mustangs as they get going this month. Homecoming will be on us early, running from September 3rd to September 7th, culminating with the football game vs. the Tri State Tigers. Coronation will be Monday, Sept. 3 at 8:00 in the gym. The theme for the week is bands. Dress up days will be: Tuesday - Throwback Day Wednesday - Video Game Character Day Thursday - Class Color Day Friday - Band Day Jumping around on subjects, I would like to talk about student success. There are a number of different thoughts on what makes a student successful. I am a big believer in giving students a great school experience. To accomplish that, students need to take advantage of all of the opportunities presented to them. I encourage students to participate in as many activities as they can. I like to tell people "I've never heard someone wish they hadn't been involved, but I hear all the time people say they wish they would have tried more activities."
