Happy Halloween! The first quarter ended last week, and we are starting to need hats and gloves. A couple of reminders: We have had a couple of cases of head lice; please remind your child not to share hats, coats, or other personal items. Also, with hunting season in full swing, please make sure to remove and hunting gear from vehicles before coming to school. State law says a gun on the premises is punishable by a 12 month suspension from school.
Football and volleyball have wrapped up and we will start to think about basketball. We will have our parent meeting on Thursday, November 16 at 7:00 in the Study Hall. Practices begin on November 27th, so if your student is going out for basketball and hasn’t been out for a fall sport he or she will need a physical. Seventh graders and sophomores need to see the doctor. Stop in for a form. We did a presentation on Social Media during parent teacher conferences on some of the new things that our out there that our students may be using. The world is changing daily and the more informed we are the better prepared we are to make decisions. If you would like to see the presentation please contact me. As always, if you have questions about opportunities or the school itself, please don't hesitate to call me at 605-938-4647. Thank you for all of your support of the school.
